I stayed for an event trip that overlapped with our anniversary. Wanted one nice gesture: a paid-for bottle of champagne in the room, something apparently very simple to do... I confirmed the anniversary champagne twice (via Ambassador and pre-arrival email). Bottle was not there, apparently due to the "missed selection" on my side... instead we found dessert plus a welcome note addressed to a different guest, quite awkward. After I asked about the missing bottle, staff sent me options via their chat, then rang the room, clearly ruining the surprise. In an attempt to save the surprise, I picked a bottle that finally arrived in a bucket with a few ice cubes and a lot of cold water, my partner ended up signing the bill herself... Call it a surprise Often hotels at this level place a free prosecco bottle in the room (which I did not ask for) so even if they really asked me to pick one pre-arrival and for whatever reason I didn't receive the email, any GM of any luxury property would have said "let's put a bottle in there regardless because it's a surprise"... After me complaining about it they did not even bother saying "the bottle is on us because of the trouble we caused". One afternoon we were stopped near the elevator with “Can I help you?” even though key-card access is required, maybe cause we were in shorts on a 40 degrees day? Lift have security scan to access the floor so felt very unnecessary. The restaurant card reader wouldn’t take my Amex, staff just said “use another card” instead of trying a second terminal. No toothbrush in the room All in all the property is brand new and in an attractive location, also I appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, however service did not follow along. The service isn’t yet at true luxury level, it could eventually fall under a 4-star level hotel. At this price range the alternatives are quite abundant in Valencia.
staff were amazing, so friendly and kind, we had great massages and cooking class and were made to feel so welcome! however our room was big but unfortunately there were a lot of bugs which increased through our stay we did sleep under the mosquito net which helped but there were ants and bugs everywhere. our toilet also stoped flushed which created a awful smell, staff did fix this quickly we just felt that the rooms needed a revamp!
I had a amazing time at Travelodge West Brom, especially from the current staff in the reception and bar (milo,babs and Jo) they served us with such confidence and hospitality like ive never seen anywhere before.
1st visit to West Bromwich Travelodge and I have to say so far I’m impressed we are here for work the staff have been more than helpful. Babs is really chatty and Jo has a fantastic of the area.
Having been staying here for a few days and I must say the staff here are absolutely fantastic. They have all been super friendly especially Joanne and Babs. It was nice to come back and had a nice long chat with Jo about the surrounding area and how much it has changed.
The loveliest welcome, and very decent people. I will have no second thoughts about staying here again. All the staff were awesome and helpful with all requests.

Плюсы: отель вроде новый, ремонт свежий, удобные кровати, большой по площади душ. Девушка на ресепшен была отзывчива. На этом все.
Минусы: в номере грязно. Вековая пыль, клубы волос на полу, Сидушка на унитазе просто лежит сверху, не прикреплена. Душевая лейка вообще сломана. Мылись из шланга, напором ее просто вышибало, после первой ночи сказали это, нам сказали, что поправят это. Но ничего не сделали. Кондиционера в номере нет, но пульт от него есть. Без него в номере невыносимо, после жалобы принесли переносной кондиционер, который гоняет воздух. Толку не много, но хоть стало чуть легче. Заявлены бесплатные завтраки. Но их нет. Нам отказали в завтраках, их вообще не делают. Шкаф в котором нет плательной палки, зачем он вообще в номере? Расположение тоже так себе, до остановок далековато, и до центра тоже. Близко только Астана Арена.
В общем остались недовольны. Ладно хоть на два дня. Возврата денег нет.
